We are Daniel and Olivia—a husband-and-wife team with a shared love for creating, discovering, and curating rustic farmhouse home decor that turns a house into a home.

Our journey didn’t start in a studio or a business plan—it started at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, a small town with a big heart and a deep rodeo spirit. What began as a college connection slowly grew into a life together, built on shared values, family, and a love for simple, meaningful living. Today, we are still walking that same path side by side—now with two wonderful children who fill our home with joy and remind us every day why “home” matters so much.

Summilo was born from that idea of home.

We have always been drawn to pieces that feel like they carry a story—weathered wood, handmade details, vintage finds that feel like they’ve lived a little before finding their place with you. Over time, that passion turned into a mission: to carefully craft, source, and share home decor that brings warmth, character, and a true sense of belonging into everyday spaces.

Some pieces are handcrafted by us with our own hands. Others are carefully chosen from artisans we deeply admire, or discovered during our treasure-hunting trips for vintage pieces that never go out of style. No matter where they come from, everything we offer is selected with care, intention, and heart.

We believe a home isn’t built in a day—it’s built piece by piece, memory by memory. And every time something from our little shop becomes part of someone else’s story, we feel incredibly grateful.
